Responsibilities
To lead the finance department of Population Movement Operation under direct supervision of Head of Operation, Cox’s Bazar in line with the Director, Finance, Dhaka.
Close Coordination with all stakeholders like, International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Partner National Societies (PNSs), Banking authorities and financial counterparts.
Supervision of all the accounts & finance related issues of the operation.
Ensure payments of the bills, salary, festival allowances, Tax & VAT within timeline
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reports as per donor & organizational requirement and specified deadlines.
Prepare monthly financial statement, bank reconciliation statement and others financial related statement.
Responsible for complying government policy including VAT & Tax deduction at source and deposit to treasury as per Govt. rules.
Maintain Accounting Software (Tally) for Project Accounts and update regular posting, where necessary.
Ensure that accurate and complete accounting documents and any other information is available to all stakeholders for reference and future needs.
Provides advice and recommendations to program personnel on financial procedures and practices, as required.
Provide support to auditors in conducting audit of financial activities.
Project budget analysis, identify variance, and develop control mechanism.
Prepare fund request for the donors and ensures timely availability of funds for project activities.
Collect source documents from respective staff in preparing vouchers as well as other financial reports.
Any other task related to the position and assigned by the authority.
Education
Commerce Graduation from recognized university is required.
Masters/ MBA in Finance/ Accounting is must.
Professional degree on Finance/ Accounts will be added value.
