Responsibilities
- Regularly test and analyse dyed fabrics and materials to ensure quality standards.
- Perform colour matching and shade assessment to meet customer and production specifications.
- Monitor the dyeing process and adjust chemical formulations to achieve the desired results.
- Record and analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to the production team.
- Inspect incoming dyes, chemicals, and fabrics for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve dyeing issues.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Ensure compliance with the laboratory's health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Continuously review and improve dyeing and testing procedures to increase efficiency and quality.
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
Experience
- At least 3 years
